Hello my name is Elsie Rodriguez; I'm also known as Elsie Wright my artist name. I'm a polymer clay baby sculptor, and I'm also silicone doll artist. I have been a self taught artist my entire life. Only recently (4 years ago) I started with sculpting. My father who I cared for during his 2 year battle with cancer I would say inspired me indirectly to begin sculpting babies. I found after I lost him I needed to find a way to celebrate life rather then to dwell on the loss of people that we cared for. My goal when I start on any piece of work is to fill people's hearts with joy and to express how beautiful life is with the creations of these lovely little babies. I live in South Central Pennsylvania with my two lovely children, my loving husband, and our St.Bernard "Vera".
