The thirty-year evolution of my dollmaking career has taken me from miniature porcelain dolls, to a teaching studio focusing on reproductions, to my own porcelain originals, to one-of-a-kind (OOAK Art Doll) polymer figures and now back to the miniatures I fell in love with so long ago. Life has dictated some of these transitions, currently limiting me to local shows and long-time collectors as I care for an aging parent.
I've been featured in the Dolls magazine "Fresh Faces" column, had dolls appear in Miniature Collector, Dolls Beautiful and Doll Crafter and have received blue ribbons for my miniature porcelain dolls and a Best-in-Category rosette for original sculpture. I have degrees in art, art education and dollmaking. However, no accomplishments match the smile of appreciation from someone enjoying my little people.
