I started creating art dolls after I was laid off from my job in 2009. I never classified myself as a creative person, and then I came across Art Doll Quarterly with the most amazing gothic dolls on the cover (by Sheri Debow and Jennybird Alcantara). It was an eye opening experience for me and I immediately sought out a tutorial on how to start making my own. Coming into the madness that can be art and creativity as an adult has given me a well of information and experiences to tap into and bring forth in each and every thing I create. Sadness, anger, and other emotions are transformed from within me and expressed with intention helping to breathe life into each creation. Although I make art from all of the emotions deep within me, I always come to my altar of creativity from a place of love, joy and hope in my heart. Creating art and helping others move into their own creative journeys fills me with deep love and pure bliss. Most recently my creations have evolved from my love of all things faerie. I have always felt a deep connection to the fae, and am finally comfortable enough in my art to fully explore their realms
