have been sculpting one-of-a-kind dolls for over 20 years. I started with a little bunny named “Justin Tyme”, then came Santa, soon a flurry of different character dolls that fit into certain eras and genres, and the creative list goes on and on. Soon my list of dolls and customers grew until the present where I am fortunate enough to sell in numerous galleries and have many customers around the world. Whether it’s an antique pair of shoes, a ‘Little Red Wagon’ that I have found in an out-of-the-way shop, or a Native American costume, I give every doll the detail, time, and love that makes each of them a treasure. I use several different polymer clays to sculpt the heads, hands and feet; I enlist the talents of various tailors and costume designers for the clothes, and regularly shop countless antique shops and boutiques throughout the US looking for just the right accessories. To me, the only joy greater than creating the dolls themselves is sharing my creations with others who love them as much as I do. In the past few years I expanded my scope and started creating a new genre called ‘Lookin’ Ups’, a gentle-looking doll that has the spirit of the being that I have created within it…..you can see the serenity of each Art Doll on it’s beautiful, upturned face, looking at the heavens that guide us. These dolls are bought by both doll collectors and those that want to add that certain ‘Southwest’ look to their home’s décor in a totally unique way. If you are interested in more information, contact me through the representative or gallery. I look forward to introducing more of my ‘friends’ to you.
